With a naturally non-stick smooth finish, we highly recommend our Double Handle Kadai for cast iron beginners. Available in four different sizes, our pre-seasoned kadai is multipurpose and you can use it to fry veggies, pakoras, meat, and seafood, make gravies, and temper dal. 

Our kadai is made with high density cast iron that takes less time to heat and slowly releases the heat into the food for even cooking. With faster cooking, your food will retain flavours and more nutrients and also adds iron to it. The kadai has easy grip handles on both sides for easy wrist movement.

QUESTIONS

Q: Is it okay to boil water in a cast iron kadai?

A: Yes, it is okay to boil water in a cast iron kadai but not more than 10-15 minutes. You can heat water until it boils or simmer gently and take it out of the kadai.

Q: How often should I oil the cast iron kadai?
A: It’s best recommended to oil a cast iron kadai 2-3 times in a year. If you see black spots on the surface, you can rub oil just over that area and set it aside for 30 minutes before storing it away.

Q: How to take care of a cast iron kadai?
A: Iron rots when in contact with oxygen, so when you let cast iron utensils sit in water for too long, they start rotting. To clean a cast iron utensil, cool it down until it’s safe to handle. Use a soft sponge and regular dishwashing liquid and gently 

Wash with room temperature water and dry off using soft cotton or microfibre cloth. Once it is completely dry, take half teaspoon of vegetable oil and rub it into the surface using a tissue paper in a circular motion.
